The Samsung Galaxy S5, guest of honor at MWC 2014

The presentation of Samsung Galaxy S5 will take place 11 months later of the presentation of Samsung Galaxy s4 and, according to rumors, Samsung Galaxy S5 It will incorporate a screen with QHD resolution, higher than full HD (it offers 2560×1440 dpi compared to 920×1280 for full HD), and an identity verification system through iris recognition.

Samsung has sent invitations to the media and journalists for the event that will take place during the Mobile World Congress 2014 on February 24A session in which the new Galaxy S5 will be presented, the new top-of-the-range phone from the Korean multinational with which it intends to continue leading the smartphone market in terms of performance.

Remember that the galaxy s4 achieved a sales figure of around 20 million units in just two months of commercialization, making it the best-selling smartphone in Samsung’s Galaxy range. The Galaxy S III, for example, it reached 10 million units sold in the first month of marketing, while the Galaxy S2 it took almost five months to reach the same figure.

To the presentation of the Galaxy S4 last year, other models of the family followed, such as Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy S4 Active designed for more extreme work environments. The entire market is waiting for the arrival of these models to be the ones chosen by Samsung to display all the new features of management, use and interaction software with the device.
