One of the greatest contributions that Samsung has made to this exhibition, and one of the most striking attractions of it, is the possibility of knowing the life and work of Antoni Gaudí in virtual reality. For this reason, Samsung will provide the space with three stalls equipped with Samsung devices (Galaxy S8, Gear VR glasses and headphones) and their multimedia content, which allows visitors to enter and see first-hand the legacy of this inimitable architect.

In this area, Samsung has contributed to renovating the museum’s digital content with new 360 images of the Crypt, Colonia Güell, Gaudí Museum, Casa Milà, Casa Bellesguard, Park Güell or Casa Vicens. In addition, a virtual reality animation has been created, which explains in a unique way the life of Antoni Gaudí.

In addition to these new contents, Samsung is expanding the museum’s technological endowment by including new Galaxy View tablets that are part of the visitor’s journey, thus creating a more technological and interactive space. In addition, as advisor and technological partner of this museum, Samsung has endowed during these years the exhibition “Walking with Gaudí”With the latest LFD technology for large format, videowall solutions, augmented reality technology and interactive content for the app with a multimedia guide installed on the tablets used by the public.

Another of the new projects created is a consultation application installed in the museum, with which visitors will be able to find out about how to plan their Gaudí route in Barcelona. It will allow visitors to benefit from discounts on the purchase of tickets and purchase tickets to Gaudí’s buildings in advance.

Furthermore, in clear tribute to the unmistakable work of the Catalan genius, Samsung has wanted to allow its users to dress their devices with the works of Antoni Gaudí. So, Samsung presents the new dials for its Gear S2, S3 and Sport wearables inspired by the unmistakable shapes and colors of the stained glass windows with which the genius of Catalan modernism adorned his most mythical works. In addition to their watches, Samsung and the museum are also presenting for smartphones a theme inspired by the Catalan artist’s work with images of the architect’s Casa Battló.
