How to download and install Lineage OS on Android devices. Guide on how download and install the ROM Lineage OS 14.1 version based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The new Lineage OS is born to continue the CyanogenMod. The installation process is simple and is the same as that used to install Custom ROMs
Step 1: Download the LineageOS ROM files from the list below and GAPPS for Android Nougat and transfer the two files to the device’s storage, that is, to the microSD card.
Step 2: Turn off and on the Android device in Recovery Mode and once in the TWRP Recovery menu, click on the option Wipe data / Factory Reset and confirm.
Step 3: Next, choose Install and select the LineageOS ROM. Swipe to confirm. Do the same with the GAPPS file and wait for the installation / flash process to finish.
Step 4: Once finished, click on the option to clear cache / dalvik and confirm. Click on Restart the system, to restart the device and when starting we already have the Lineage OS 14.1 ROM based on Android Nougat in the device.
