Apple: Guys, let’s learn in Hour of Code!

Both the Apple Stores in Spain and the 446 stores around the world, next December 11 will become the scene of the second edition of the activity “The Hour of Code” that includes free workshops -aimed at children, from 6 years of age- in which the fundamentals of computer programming will be taught in an easy and fun way.

The data have been provided by sources from the leader of Cupertino, who highlighted that “The Hour of Code” – promoted by the NGO Code.org – is framed in “The Week of Computer Teaching”, to be held from 8 to 14 of this month.

“The Hour of Code aims to reach 100 million students by the end of 2014 (…) This is an important milestone to remove the veil of mystery that surrounds computer programming and break the stereotypes that keep young women away from it. activity ”, pointed out the informants, who in this sense also specified that the workshops –which will last one hour- will include an introduction to computing, conceived to demystify the task of programming and demonstrate that anyone, even the smallest, can learn the basics of programming.
