What is Recovery mode, what is it for and how is it used on Android and PC?
Recovery, as its name implies, means to recover. It is defined as a system partition or part of memory, with boot properties. I mean, what is an option that the Smartphone has to recover the operating system.
Let’s start with the simple, if you remember, surely on some occasion you realized that there is a large amount of space on the device that is occupied. The mobile never comes with all the space it says on the box, this is because in that part of the internal memory among other things is the Recovery.
These are basically system files, the idea of these files is to be able to restore it when convenient, in a nutshell. In this way, when you have to do a hard reset or factory reset, you can easily do it from the relevant option because you have the files mentioned above.
In the case of the PC, it is necessary reset the system when it begins to fail and you don’t know the cause. In this section, we will explain in a very brief way how to enter Recovery mode on a PC with version 10 of Windows.

In the pop-up window that will appear two options, you only have to select one of them. It should be noted that each one offers you different things, but you choose the one that suits you best. What kind of Recovery are there? What are the types of Recovery?
You are going to meet two actually, the first is the stock recovery and the second would be the custom recovery. I imagine that you will realize thanks to its name, what would be the difference at first glance, to say the least.
The stock recovery, in the same way as a stock firmware, is the one that comes by default in any device. It is the one added by the manufacturer in question to obviously be able, in case it is necessary, to perform the factory reset that I mentioned earlier.
Instead, the custom recovery, like any custom ROM, it is one created by the community to not only give the option of doing what I mentioned above. But in addition, it gives you a greater number of possibilities, among which is install custom ROMs or custom ROM, even being able to recover different areas and delete some specific ones, etc.
The downside of custom Recovery is that, being developed by the community, it is more than evident that there is no guarantee in case something goes wrong and you will have to solve the problem yourself.
