A few days ago we told you that there was some confusion regarding the new low-end Xiaomi terminal, the supposed Xiaomi Redmi 6.
At first we believed that this model was that terminal, with a fairly conservative design. Later we saw another model that would fit better with the new low-end flagship.
Now there is a new theory that combines both ideas. Apparently the mobile that has been filtered again, this time in the Chinese TENAA, is the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, the most powerful variant of the low-end terminal. The previously filtered model would correspond to Xiaomi Redmi 6A, which would be a more basic version.
At the moment there are rumors that come to us although the only thing that does not seem clear is the name of this model since the design and features do seem final.
How is the Xiaomi Redmi 6
The device that has been seen in the Chinese certification office has a code name M1805D1SE and it has some important specifications to be a Redmi.
Its screen is 5.84 inches, with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels Full HD + and a 19: 9 ratio, due to the notch.
The processor model is unknown, but it is known that it is a 2 GHz Octa Core. There will be three variants in terms of RAM and ROM:
- 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory
- 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory
- 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory
They all have a dual SIM slot, one of which can be used to put a microSD of up to 256 GB if we need more storage.
The rear camera is 12 Mpx and has a support sensor that we do not know its resolution. For the family to which it belongs and its focus could be 5 Mpx, fitting with the same module that has the Spanish Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (the Chinese Redmi Note 5 Pro).
The front camera will be 5 Mpx, and will have a fingerprint sensor in the rear area, an infrared sensor, a headphone port, a microUSB port and a 4000 mAh battery.
The system version will be Android 8.1 Oreo, with MIUI on top as expected. Its dimensions are 149.33 × 71.68 × 8.75mm and it will weigh 178 gr.
