Mediatek is increasing its efforts in the smartphone processor market. It is well known that Qualcomm is its main and hardest rival in the chipset segment and that it has been overshadowed by this, since its presence in most of today's smartphones, as well as in the most popular ones, is not very marked.
Huawei, with its Kirin, and Samsung, with its Exynos, have also made Mediatek's life a little harder in recent times, by opting for their own chipset sets for their respective models. But Mediatek has not been idle, at least not recently, and this has been demonstrated with its new Helio G90, which has been well received by users due to its great gaming capabilities, and its next SoC with support for 5G, which already has an official release date.
The November 26 It is the date in which we will be knowing once and for all the new Mediatek processor. This, as we have affirmed and has been officially revealed by the same company a while ago, will have an integrated 5G modem that will add such connectivity support for smartphones that have it integrated under its hood.
Pictures like this don't get old – this tiny little @MediaTek square will power many devices to come, including the 5G future. More info will come at the announcement on November 26! #MediaTekSummit #thischipchangeseverything pic.twitter.com/LwJ1jO2Xnt

Nothing else is known about its characteristics and technical specifications., but we can intuit that it is a System-on-Chip with an advanced node size, eight cores and a 64-bit architecture. It is said to be 7nm, to be more specific, but this is just a guess, as well as the claims that it will have support for cameras up to 80 megapixel resolution. However, we would not be surprised if all or many of the rumors and high expectations that are hanging around the network are fulfilled, as much is expected of this processor.
