Gabor Gurbacs, VanEck's Director of Digital Asset Strategy, spoke about how the Bitcoin market is more transparent than the stock and commodities market, during a podcast episode on WhatBitcoinDid. He also spoke about the commission's concerns that the Bitcoin ETF may resolve in the current market.
Gurbacs stated that one of the concerns to be resolved with the VanEck Bitcoin ETF is price, adding that ETFs use transparent benchmarks. In addition, I have stated that VanEck is regulated to offer securities products, claiming that they have always been one of the first issues of any asset.
He continued saying:
"Market manipulation through over-the-counter markets that we regulate stockbrokers, you know, we believe that we also solved the issue of market manipulation. Because we have price transparency and you have regulated entities that are under your legal knowledge established jurisdiction. "
The director stated that the commission's biggest problem is market manipulation and activity in gray areas outside the jurisdiction of the United States, such as Asia and other countries, which have a major influence on the price of Bitcoin. Gurbacs stated that this is an unsolvable problem, adding that "I also don't know why it is a big problem."
I also added that there were several commodities, such as oil, that have gray areas and foreign influence. Gurbacs said:
"So what is it that we find difficult to understand sometimes why the Bitcoin side only has such high or double standards, which I like to call, compared to other asset classes? Actually, today, there are more transparency in the Bitcoin market than the commodity market and bond markets. "
The director added that the investment management firm has taken certain steps to ensure that the Bitcoin market grows in a healthy way. He also claimed that they have created an over-the-counter index to achieve transparency in over-the-counter prices. He also spoke about his association with Nasdaq, stating that the US stock market will be monitoring various point platforms to make sure there are no bad traders.
