Just yesterday we were talking about the presentation of the Huawei P8, the new flagship of the Chinese firm that compete directly with the current high rangessuch as the Samsung Galaxy S6 or HTC One M9. Well, we are still waiting for the new flagship from Sony, the Sony Xperia Z4, which we have already told you about and thatcould surprise us with a big change in its design line, making it physically similar to the Huawei P8.
Since the launch of the Sony Xperia Z range, the Japanese firm has been characterized by manufacture your top-of-the-range terminals with a more premium that we weren't used to, the glass, thus endowing it with its characteristic water resistance and its elegant design. Well, apparently, Sony is tired of this material and would be willing to trade it for aluminum according to rumors. If someone knows the Sony Xperia Z3 well, they may think that it is the same as this one, an aluminum frame with a glass back, well, if the rumors are confirmed, the new Sony Xperia Z4 will have a completely aluminum body, which would make it lighter in the hand, and perhaps more shock resistant. Does this mean that the Sony Xperia Z4 was not waterproof? We don't know, perhaps, since there is still no waterproof metal smartphone.
But here the surprises do not end and it is that Sony may follow in the wake of its competitors and enter a fingerprint reader on the Sony Xperia Z4, something that would not be missed in the middle of 2015. Before Sony there is a very difficult dilemma, where to put that reader? Unlike its competitors, Sony doesn't include physical home buttons where to include it, and placing it in the back will break the aesthetics of the terminal. Well, apparently, the Japanese firm would include the fingerprint reader in the same unlock button, a very comfortable area since it would be in the most natural position. If this is so, it would be an achievement, since the size of said reader must be extremely small and we hope that it is as accurate and fast as its competition.
How would you like it if the Sony Xperia Z4 was built in an aluminum body?
