Nokia 8.3 5G It is presented as the new smartphone of the Finnish firm, a smartphone that combines a 5G connectivity able to work in any country in the world with the Pure Android which is already common in the manufacturer's mobile phones.
We are facing a large smartphone, with a 6.81 inch FHD + screen, which reduces the bezels, but not to the level of other current high-end. The 24 MP selfie camera is embedded in a perforation in the panel in the upper left corner.
The processor is a Snapdragon 765G, in charge of providing it with 5G connectivity, and which is supported by 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, Meanwhile he storage is 64GB or 128GB.
Nokia 5.3 and 1.3 are official: design and resistance in affordable phones
The Nokia 8.3 5G opts for a quad camera, placed in a central module that protrudes at the back of the phone. The main sensor is 64 MP, with 2.8m pixels to capture a lot of light in night photography.
A 12MP wide-angle sensor cover more elements in the scenes that require it (panoramic landscapes, large groups …), and a 2 MP macro take care of close shots, a few centimeters from the subject.
The fourth sensor, also 2MP, is dedicated to measuring depth for bokeh or portrait mode, so there is no zoom camera for photos from afar.
Nokia continues to bet on pure Android, with hardly any customization of Google's operating system. In the Nokia 8.3 5G we have Android 10, being part of the Android One program, which guarantees 2 years of major updates and 3 years of security patches.

Nokia 8.3 5G, price and availability
The Nokia 8.3 5G will go on sale at early summer 2020, without a specific date yet, and in principle everything points to reaching Spain. It will be sold in Polar Night color, a combination of blue tones.
You can choose between two versions, with the following prices for each one:
- 6 GB of RAM + 64 GB of storage per 599 euros.
- 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage per 649 euros.
The Nokia 8.3 5G is an interesting terminal, although its price of 599 euros makes missing a 90Hz screen or optical zoom camera, that many competitors in its price range already integrate.
We will have to check if its commitment to pure Android and global 5G compensates it, although in any case the Nokia 8.3 5G confirms that the Finnish brand is still ready to make a name for itself among smartphone manufacturers.
