The months of May and June of this year are being especially busy in the mobile phone sector, with more announcements than we remember in previous years. This will help Vivo, since on June 12 we will attend the presentation of the business model of the Vivo Apex, that smartphone that focused all eyes on the MWC.
Yesterday we told you that there would be three different models and today new data tells us about the benefits of two of them. Both are marketed under the name of Vivo Nex but we do not know if they will have any suffix.
Although on the outside they are very similar and coincide in features such as the battery, the screen or the cameras, there will be some specifications in which they will differ, one being a pure high-end and the other a premium mid-range.
Both models share a design, with a front almost without frames that does not even leave space for the front camera, which will appear from the top frame when we need it.
The screen will be much larger than what we usually see, 6.59 inches and 2316 x 1080 px resolution. Its front camera will be 8 Mpx and the rear dual, with 12 Mpx and 5 Mpx.
The battery of both models will reach 4000 mAh and we can use the fast charge of their USB C ports. Android 8.1 Oreo will be the version used with the brand's interface, FunTouch OS 4.
The first model, the most powerful, will have the Snapdragon 845, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
The other variant will be more contained, using a Snapdragon 710 and 6 GB of RAM. Internal memory has also dropped, down to 128 GB.
At least one of them will have an on-screen fingerprint sensor although it is not known if the model with the Snapdragon 710 will also use this technology.
We still do not know the prices of the two terminals, nor if they can be purchased outside of China, where both devices are intended.
