Tablets continue to forge their way in the world of technology, which is why we increasingly see more and more devices on the market. One of them is the Iconia One 8, an 8-inch tablet presented by Acer at CES 2016. It is a team designed for all types of users, capable of offering a wide performance for web browsing, video playback and games.
The Iconia One 8 tablet features an 8-inch IPS HD display with 10 touch points, enabling it to deliver bright and vivid images with panoramic viewing angles and a superior tactile gaming experience. The team runs on Android 5.1 and offers 9 hours of autonomy.
The device incorporates a MediaTek quad-core processor, a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, 1GB of DDR3L RAM, 16GB of internal storage, in addition to an expansion slot capable of supporting MicroSD cards up to 128GB.
Another novelty of the Iconia One 8 tablet is the inclusion of Acer Kids Center, an application with a simple interface, ideal for beginner users and with preselected content appropriate for children. The device also includes parental control functions such as blocking access to inappropriate content, preselected content for children or even daily limit of time of use of the tablet.
The device also includes smart tools that simplify all user tasks. One of them is EZ WakeUp, a tool that allows you to start and load a preselected application with a single touch and a double tap. Another is EZ Snap, which makes it easy to capture an image that can be easily edited and shared. Finally, it also includes System Doctor, a function with which it is possible to manage device memory, external storage and applications to optimize system functionality.
As for availability and price, the Acer Iconia One 8 will be available in EMEA in January with a price from 129 euros.
