We have just reported that MIUI 11 was arriving at one of Xiaomi's most forgotten devices, which is the Redmi 4. Now we have announced that one of the firm's newest mobiles is also getting the update … We refer, of course, to Redmi Note 8 Pro, the premium mid-range that has not even been launched for two months.
The OTA offers the stable version of the new customization layer. Of course, the first users who are already receiving it are those belonging to India – after those of China.
MIUI 11 brings a renewed and more polished interface design, so it is more pleasant to the eye and use. This also adds various improvements and new features not previously applied in its predecessor versions. For the Redmi Note 8 Pro it comes under the version number ‘MIUI 188.8.131.52’.
Despite having been implemented as the stable MIUI 11 update for the Redmi Note 8 Pro, it is likely to be a stable trial version that is sent to a limited number of users. There were several users in the forums that did not receive the update, so it is possible that many users have to wait a week or two to get the final version.
Note that This update of MIUI 11 is still based on Android Pie, but brings interesting features of MIUI 11 to the device, including new features and productivity features.
