League of Legends, or simply "LoL", as it is also known or usually called, had its World Championship a few days ago after a month of hard fights and battles among its contestants in Paris, France, which was where it took place. There the best players of the title were tested. Oppo, in order to take advantage of the popularity of this event, showed its latest Oppo Reno 2 Zoom smartphone.
In the tournament, which began on October 2 in Berlin, Germany, 24 teams competed in a series of epic death fights. As a sponsor, the smartphone company Oppo had established an experience booth from November 5 to 10. He also presented the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and showed the already named smartphone.
This does not come as a surprise. The Chinese company officially announced in September that it had become the Exclusive global smartphone partner for LoL Esports international events, which include the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitation and the All-Star event.
Notably, this is a long term partnership because Oppo has signed a contract that lasts for five years. The company said it looks forward to further cooperation with the Esports world event and added that there is much more to the store, including a lot of activations around the World Championship, Mid-Season Invitation and Star Event, in addition to other Things to be announced later.
Oppo said this alliance with the editor of League of Legends, which is Riot Games, will last until 2024. This further marks the company's exploration in the field of electronic sports, expanding existing sports and entertainment sponsorships.
