The Moto G8 family just received a new member, and it's about Moto G8 standard. Several months after the launch of the Moto G8 Play, G8 Plus and G Power, we finally received the "normal" model. Last year, the G7 achieved a good balance between cost and capabilities. Let's see if the 2020 model is capable of achieving the same result.

Motorola's new Moto G8

The Moto G8 comes with a 6.4 inch Max Vision perforated screen with a HD + resolution Just like the Play version. It is curious that in this case we find a remarkable "downgrade", since the Moto G7 had a 6.2-inch screen with Full HD + resolution.

The device is powered by a chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. The processor is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The phone has a hybrid SIM slot, so we can choose to place a MicroSD instead of a second SIM. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone.

The Moto G8 feeds on a 4000 mAh battery, larger than the Moto G7 (3000 mAh). They claim that it should last up to 40 hours with moderate use and waiting time included. On the negative side, only support 10W charging instead of a fast 15W load as its predecessor. It has a USB Type-C port at the bottom. Also maintains a 3.5mm audio jack on top.

There are three cameras on the back of the phone. The first sensor is a 8MP ultra wide angle camera with a field of vision of 118. It is followed by 16MP main camera with opening of f / 1.7 and a 2MP macro camera. The fourth hole is actually for the auto focus module with laser. The main camera can record 4K video at 30 fps.

The camera for selfies is about a 8MP sensor (1.12 m pixels).
