Is not that OPPO It is precisely a stranger since it has been selling millions of mobiles in its country, China. Being part of the conglomerate of BBK Mobile, which is linked together with ALIVE and OnePlus, OPPO finally decided to make the international leap as the brand deserves and have presented their lavish OPPO Find X, a mobile that flees from the conventional in an attempt to risk design and performance.
We have attended numerous leaks of the OPPO Find X, all intuiting an almost 100% screen design in which the brand included a risky camera system that hides inside the phone. Far from being motorized, as in the case of VIVO Nex, in the new OPPO mobile we come across a retractable photography system that releases the lenses with a simple hand gesture. Thanks to that he gets an amazing 92.25% frontal utilization.
Design is the most risky of the OPPO Find X, a point of innovation that brings freshness to the huge amount of "notches" that populate the Android mobile catalog. Inside it is not so new: it is a smartphone with the best of the best, as it could not be otherwise. Just look at its technical sheet to check it.
OPPO Find X features
Outside is beautiful, inside too. There are not too many surprises around hardware, it is not in vain that it competes in the mobile race of the highest category. You could not miss the most powerful Qualcomm, of course: the Snapdragon 845 campaign at your leisure offering maximum performance in the field of processing, connections and graphic performance.
The time has come to completely undress the OPPO Find X, here are all its technical details:

We will not lie, its resemblance is surprising Samsung Galaxy S9, having curved glass at the front and at the back, imitating the "Edge" edges.
The mobile has double-sided glass and a metal frame in aluminum. Fully clean front with hidden sensors on the top of the panel, cameras that leave the body to hide when not in use, back side completely free of elements … It is beautiful on the outside, no doubt.
Beyond the processor, which we have already talked about long and hard (the Snapdragon 845 is the best of Qualcomm's manufacturer), OPPO Find X is committed to 8 GB of RAM and a minimum of 128 GB of storage. Nothing short of one or the other, or battery: 3400 mAh. This mobile keeps a certain resemblance in features with its partner, the LIVE Nex.
The commitment to photography is also level, as corresponds to a high / premium range. The photographic system can be somewhat inconvenient since to deploy the cameras you have to perform a physical slide, but it has its positive point: access to the shooting option it's immediate just by opening the camera set, regardless of what you are using on the smartphone.
As for the operating system, we have Android 8.1 Oreo With its own customization layer, Color OS. Maybe we would have liked Android more stock, but being the high end it is and having Android Oreo in its version 8.1, there is no complaint. We do not forget any connection, having USB-C, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth, in addition to fast charging.
In addition, during its presentation Oppo has confirmed that the Find X enters the Google Android P program, so that we can test and have the latest version of the system, as well as full compatibility with Google Assistant and Google Lens.
A new twist to the market
The main novelty of this device is that it involves a renewal after the elimination of notch as a measure to obtain the highest possible frontal percentage. As we mentioned before, a module with the cameras that is between the two parts of the device will slide up if we want to use them.
While this, as in the Vivo Nex, raises debate about whether it is really beneficial to have moving parts, it remains to be seen how this is translated on a daily basis. Being something so novel, it is not like the camera that protrudes from the Nex or the bad position of the Xiaomi Mi MIX camera. How will this impact on day to day? Will it be comfortable enough for the user to have to slide continuously?
We are not only talking about the front camera, but of the rear cameras. The double 20 + 16 Mpx camera is hidden next to the LED flash in the same module, so if we want to use this camera to take pictures, we will have to slide. Maybe a little risky, but thanks to that, we have a new screen ratio record with a 92.25 percent.
OPPO Find X price and availability
The presentation in Paris is not accidental: OPPO plans to take its Find X to most of the world, also to Spain. The company has announced that the price will be € 999 for the 256GB version of storage and 8GB of RAM and can be purchased at August.
For its part, the special edition with Lamborghini rises to 1,699 euros with 512GB storage and SUPERVOOC charging, which promises to fully charge the smartphone's battery in just 35 minutes.
