The weather forecast. We take it for granted, but keeping an eye on it before leaving home can make the difference between staying dry and getting to work soaked. Fortunately, your iPhone comes with its own Weather application and, despite how efficient it is, sometimes you can forget to look at it in the morning. Without further ado, we will explain now how to display the meteorology on the iPhone home screen.
It is a very simple and efficient way to keep up with the weather and prepare for a shower or excess cold.
How to add the weather forecast to wake up to the lock screen of your iPhone
Adding the weather forecast at a glance and checking it upon awakening is a piece of cake. However, it has a requirement: you must have iOS 12 or later on your iPhone, which leaves out iPhone 5 users.
Assuming you're using iOS 12 or 13, you can add the morning weather forecast by going to Configuration and later Do not bother, where you can schedule a time range during which you will not receive calls or notifications. Then you must go to Privacy, in order to change the location services of the application Time to Forever or When using the application, according to your iOS version.
We show you a step-by-step summary of what you should do:
Step 1: open the configuration. Then select Do not bother.
Step 2: Touch the gray toggle switch next to Programmed, so that it slides to the green position ‘On’. Then press the bar From to to configure when you want the mode Do not bother is active Finally, make sure the dimmed lock screen It is on.
Step 3: return to the configuration. Scroll down and tap Privacy. Touch Location services. Scroll down and click onWeather. In iOS 12, select Forever. For iOS 13 or later, select While using the application.
This is all you have to do. Once you have completed these steps, the lock screen of your iPhone will show you a brief forecast of the weather every morning, including the current temperature, the maximum expected, as well as the general weather conditions. This forecast is shown only once a day after the alarm sounds on your iPhone and you pick up the phone for the first time. So don't be surprised if you don't see it later.
And if you really like your weather forecasts, it is best to install a dedicated one from the app store. After checking the weather on the lock screen every morning, you may need a little more detail, especially when a snowstorm or storm is forecast.
