Thus, today the company has shown the world the new Live APEX 2020, a prototype that shows the technological advances achieved by the company over the past year, of which some will come to fruition in future telephones such as the series I live NEX.

First of all, it should be reiterated that Vivo APEX 2020 is a conceptual telephone That can not be bought. However, the company has created the device physically, to demonstrate that, while the technologies used for its development are complex and will not be ready for mass production, it is possible to carry them out, and its arrival is closer than it seems.
Taking a look at the device, we found a gadget with futuristic design which stands out mainly for its large 6.45 inch diagonal screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a crystal with a sharp curve of 120 on each side. In this way, Vivo has been able to eliminate any type of lateral margin, in the same way that it was already achieved with the Vivo NEX 3.
Live has also decided dispense with all physical buttons and ports on the body of the device. Instead, the company allows you to control parameters such as volume through the sides of the screen. In addition, the on-screen audio technology supplies the lack of speakers. In that sense, the Vivo APEX 2020 is also one of the first models in integrate a hidden 16 megapixel camera on the screen, through a screen technology that allows to increase the transmission of light through the panel, in order to reduce optical interference or possible differences and flashes that may appear when taking photos with this camera.
Since the phone also lacks a USB Type-C charging port, Vivo bets on faster wireless charging technology that we have seen to date: nothing less than 60W of power. Thanks to her, in theory the ability to charge a 2000 mAh battery in just 20 minutes.
The firm has also revealed the details of the main photographic system of this conceptual telephone, led by a camera with the same resolution as the forward, with Continuous optical zoom that allows enlargements of between 5 and 7.5 increases without loss. To achieve this, a combination of four grouped lenses, two of them fixed and two mobile.
Other confirmed details are the inclusion of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor beside 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Its exact dimensions will be 157.25 millimeters high, 66.2 wide and 8.8 thick, with a surprisingly light weight of only 169 grams.
If it had not been for the cancellation of MWC 2020, it is very likely that as of today it would have already been possible view and test this experimental device. However, I have to wait until some of the technologies included in the Apex 2020 are implemented in future mobile phones of the brand.
