Samsung is again the best selling brand in Europe

Sales figures for the third quarter in Europe are now official. The five brands that have sold the most in the continent in these three months are known. Samsung is crowned again as the best selling, surely driven by its mid-range as in the second quarter of this year.

The list does not leave too many surprises. Samsung strengthens its position, thanks to Huawei not growing, due to all its problems with the veto by the United States. Xiaomi is possibly the big surprise in terms of sales growth compared to last year.

Samsung has sold 18.7 million of telephones in Europe in the third quarter, obtaining a market share of 35.7% in this way. It represents an increase of 26% over the same period last year. So it is good news for the Korean giant, which increases the distance with its competitors.

In second position Huawei remains, with 11.6 million units sold. They remain as last year in this regard. Apple is the third brand, with sales of 9.8 million. The surprise is in fourth position with Xiaomi and its 5.5 million units sold (an increase of 73%). The Top 5 HMD Global, the firm responsible for Nokia, closes.

Further, phone sales have increased in Europe in the third quarter. This is a novelty, because they had been falling for a while and just up in a period when sales tend to fall. A situation that brands like Samsung or Xiaomi have taken advantage of clearly.

No data have been given on which Samsung phones are the best selling, but models like the Galaxy A50 or the Galaxy Note 10 Surely they have helped the Korean brand to have emerged as the most popular among users in these months. Have you bought a brand phone?
