For some time now we have become accustomed: with respect to the new phones, the rumors turn out to be too true, and we have rechecked it today with the new members of the Samsung family: the Galaxy S20, S20 + and S20 Ultra.
Experience and Innovation have been the values with which Samsung wants to define its new line. In other words: we know what customers look for in us (experience) and we give them something more added (innovation, although they also often give us things we don't really need like Bixby!)
Another thing is the trends transformed into numbers: 18 percent of the phones you see this 2020 will have 5G. You may or may not have it, but it will be irresponsible that manufacturers no longer include it by default.

Today, it will be naive to present some flag phones and focus their virtues only on ultra-sharp screens and connectivities that are still available to very few. Therefore, the cameras are still decisive, and here Samsung has decided to take a hit, especially with its S20 Ultra model. Specifically, we are talking about a system that allows a 100x digital zoom capability, something never seen before on a phone. In the S20 and S20 + models this digital zoom reaches 30x, quite a lot, if we consider that the current flagship, the Galaxy Note 10+ has a “barely” 10x zoom.

First and foremost: all devices on the Galaxy S20 line (Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra) are equipped with the latest 5G technology. In addition, the Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra are the first devices capable of enhancing new mobile experiences that take advantage of both sub-6 and mmWave. The Galaxy S20 is compatible with sub-62. The Galaxy S20 series is capable of offering non-independent and autonomous 5G capabilities. Great. Now you only need to have 5G coverage of your company wherever you are.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 is the smallest of all, and I dare to ensure that it is the favorite of consumers, since it allows you to do everything with one hand. The Galaxy S20 Plus is somewhat more bulky, although they share the same design language with a glass back and a rounded rectangular camera module in the upper left. The S20 has a 6.2-inch screen and the S20 Plus 6.7. Outside this size, they have the same resolution 3200 x 1440 pixels, which will make the S20 stronger. We were told they will have a higher refresh rate than previous Samsung phones, at 120Hz, which should ensure the joy of the gamers more demanding. Both feature a perforated front camera in the upper center of the screen.
Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus also have very similar cameras. Both models come with a 64 megapixel telephoto lens, which joins a normal 12 MP lens and an ultra wide 12 MP lens. Both also have the same 10 megapixel front camera, although only the S20 Plus will have a flight time sensor, which will allow a much more precise depth detection, although both have a 30x optical zoom capability on paper.
All previously noted features are exaggerated in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. Its 6.9-inch screen is already striking. It has an update frequency of 120Hz, which is very noticeable when opening the rear camera and moving the phone. But it is precisely in the camera of the S20 Ultra where Samsung wants to hit a chair. It has a configuration that combines a 108 megapixel (!) Lens with a 48 MP telephoto lens and a 12 MP ultra wide angle lens. The star feature here is the incredible zoom capability offered by the S20 Ultra. Supports 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.

This last is a real madness. And beyond surprise, you will have to ask yourself if in your real life you need a phone with that zoom capability. We tried it for a moment, and it is necessary to have a completely still phone to appreciate something at that distance. In other words: if they put this zoom on your phone, surely there will be situations in which you will enjoy it and play with it; but if you are someone who needs to zoom in that day, surely in your bag you will carry a professional camera, and not a phone. Clearly, these are our first impressions, and we will have to spend time with the phones to give you a more definitive opinion.
And the rest
Inside, all three models run Android 10 over Samsung's One UI 2.0. The Galaxy S20 has a 4,000 mAh battery; the S20 + one of 4,500 mAh, and the S20 Ultra a huge electric mass of 5,000 mAh. All three have IP68 certification of resistance to water and dust, so survive any bung or dust that is too long.
Logically, the price differentiates them. the S20 starts at $ 999 dollars (128 GB + 12 GB RAM); the S20 + starts at $ 1,199 dollars (128 GB + 12 GB RAM), and the S20 Ultra starts at 1,399 dollars 128 GB + 12 RAM, expandable to 512 GB / 16 GB RAM). So pre-order from next February 21, but will not go on sale in the US until March 6.
