Lenovo has already started registration for the Z6 Pro 5G, which is scheduled to go on sale on December 12. Before that, the phone appeared in the database of the 3C agency and TENAA, which makes people believe that a new 5G phone comes from the Chinese giant when in reality it is only the 5G variant of the already announced Z6 Pro. We could Confirm this with the TENAA listing that has the device specification sheet, as well as the listing on the Lenovo website.
TENAA's list includes phone images which, of course, show the device's similar design to the 4G version of the Z6 Pro. The specification sheet lacks some key specifications, but the list on Lenovo's own site shows it all.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G (Lenovo L79041) has a 6.39-inch OLED display with a FullHD + resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a water drop shaped notch. The official list says that the screen is covered with Gorilla Glass, but the type is not mentioned. There is a Snapdragon 855 processor under the hood along with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. However, the TENAA list says that there will also be versions of 6 GB + 128 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB as well.
The phone has a 32 MP selfie camera (f / 2.0) with a beauty mode and support for 1080p and 720p video recording. On the back of the phone there is a 48 MP primary sensor (f / 1.8) that is paired with a 16 MP super wide-angle camera (f / 2.2) and 125 ° field of view, an 8 MP telephoto lens (f /2.4) and a 2 MP video camera (f / 1.8) with OIS. The phone can record in 4K, it has a night scene mode, macro mode and professional mode.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G will include a 4,000 mAh battery with support for a fast charging of 27 W through a USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, there is no NFC nor is there an audio jack. You will get an on-screen fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0 with support for AptX HD, LDAC and TWS protocol. The phone also has a new liquid cooling technology called Coldfront 2.0 and is compatible with Lenovo One.
Lenovo will send the phone with ZUI 11 based on Android Pie, but the site says it will get the OTA from Android 10. The phone images provided by TENAA and the Lenovo site are of a color variant called Navy Blue, but TENAA says there will also be silver and gold versions.
