Thanks to MIUI 11, Xiaomi Redmi 7A adds new options for users to realize the full potential of the mobile. If you combine these new features with the functions of a lifetime you can customize the dynamics of the mobile to your own style.
You don't know where to start? Do not worry, we share a series of tricks that you can apply now on your Redmi 7A
Reverse or replace on-screen buttons
If you do not like the distribution of the buttons on the screen you can apply some changes from the mobile configuration.
Some users do not like that by default the Volrestrest button on the left and Multitasking on the right. The good news that this detail can be changed with a simple click. To do this, you just have to go to Settings >> Additional Settings >> Full Screen >> Reverse buttons.
See that the distribution is automatically changed. Or you can simply replace the buttons with gestures on the selected screen the option you see in the image. In this way, you replace the buttons with these gestures:
- Back you slide to the right or left from the edge
- Open Recent slides from below and pause in the center
- Go to home screen – slide from below
Launch the camera quickly at any time
It is annoying to want to take a picture and not have the option of a camera at hand. So that this does not happen to you and capture at the moment what you want, you just have to apply this configuration.
Go to Settings >> Additional settings >> Button shortcuts >> Run camera. You will find different options you can choose to launch the camera as quickly as possible. You just have to select the button or combination that is most practical for you.
And this setting will also work when your mobile is locked.
Configure screen capture method
Making a screenshot in Xiaomi is simple since we have the tool icon always available in the top menu. However, it is not always comfortable, since sometimes it does not take the catch in specific areas.
We can solve this detail and speed up the process by configuring some combinations of gestures.
To do this go to Settings >> Additional Settings >> Button shortcut >> Take screenshot and choose the combination that is most comfortable for you. Depending on the situation you may use the icon in the top bar or your combination of gestures.
Block an app in multitasking so it doesn't close
Maybe this has happened to you many times. You are listening to your favorite songs from Spotify or YouTube Music while going from one application to another, then you close all at once and ups! Addis music. To keep your music application (or any other) open while you close the rest of the applications you just have to apply this trick.
Once the applications are open, select the Recent button and hold the app you want to keep for a second until the options you see in the first image appear.
Choose the lock icon to lock the application and not accidentally close. It is easy to distinguish the apps that you have blocked in multitasking because they retain the lock icon as you see in the second image.
Lock the screen at any time without using the mobile button
This is a little trick not to depend on the power button to lock the screen anytime.
It does not have to do with configuring that the screen is automatically locked after a certain time, but we will only use a widget that provides MIUI. To do this, go to the Widgets section (by pressing any free part of the screen) and in the Quick Functions options choose Lock.
Add the widget to the part of the screen that is practical for you and when you want to lock the screen you only select it and it will automatically be locked. A simple way to breathe the physical buttons of the mobile.
Schedule battery savings
To take care of the battery or not run out of mobile at any time you can eestablish a series of criteria for battery saving to be activated.
You can configure this option from Settings >> Battery and Performance and select the gear wheel to take you to the next section.
From there you can establish that the energy saving is applied in a certain period or when a certain percentage falls. And of course, you can also configure a series of measures to be taken when energy saving is active.
Voice creation from anywhere in the mobile
If you are one of those who use the mobile to register all the pending and tasks you can make your life easier by applying this trick.
Thanks to MIUI 11, now the Notes app also has a section for our tasks. You can create tasks with the voice and add reminders. And you do not need to open the Notes app to perform this process, you can do it directly from anywhere on the mobile by enabling the Use the toolbox for tasks option, as you can see in the image.
This option is found in the Settings section of the app. Once you enable it, see a small vertical bar. Just move it to the center and have the interface to create tasks, both in text and voice.
And it doesn't matter what section of the mobile you are in or if you're only on the main page, always be available for use.
Have two accounts of the same application or social network
If you want to have more than one account of the same app on the mobile you can use the Dual Applications option.
Just go to Settings >> Dual applications. See a list of all the applications you have installed so you can choose the one you want to duplicate and an icon will automatically be added to the Start Screen. As you can see in the image, you can differentiate your primary and secondary account.
