Very recently, Samsung officially introduced the new Galaxy S20 and with these began the war this year in which all manufacturers will compete to have the most powerful terminal. We know that Xiaomi will come strong and now that the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are official, we can confirm it.
If we review the characteristics of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro we find in them the best of the best: raw power, high storage and many GB of RAM along with cameras that have already been crowned on the DXOMark podium as the most powerful (pending the review of the Galaxy S20).
Before doing a review of what we will see this year we leave you with the table of Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro specifications So you can see the differences between both models. You will see that they are rather few, because Xiaomi wants to offer something similar to what he did in the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro (two very similar phones but with a power ball and extra capabilities in the Pro model with an increase price "justified").

As we can see with the naked eye the differences are rather few. They are very similar models that only differ in the capacity of the battery, some extra elements in the camera and little else. And the truth is that we like that, because Xiaomi will not make you have an incredibly larger terminal if you want to opt for the model of the highest range. Let's talk a little about them, I'm sure you'll be interested in knowing their design, gross power and the capabilities of their camera.
The design of the Xiaomi Mi 10 is identical, this time with a camera on the side of the screen
Instead of resorting to the annoying notch, this year Xiaomi has decided to mount some high-quality AMOLED screens with 90 Hz soda that come bored on its left side with a simple 20 MP selfie camera. It has very small edges and hardly noticeable (do not disturb the day to day).
Its 6.67-inch panel with curved edges is of very good quality and much larger than in the previous generation. However, its main novelty is nothing like that but its 90 Hz screen designed for gaming, with a frequency of 180 Hz for the response to the touches.
Gross power and 5G, something without choice
Unlike other brands that choose to launch 4G models, Xiaomi knows that in a high range the user wants it all and that's why he has launched the Mi 10 with Snapdragon 865 and 5G connection, along with a more than perfect tandem for top AnTuTu benchmarks. We enjoy LPDDR5 RAM with a minimum of 8 GB and UFS 3.0 storage for the 128 GB minimum that we will find in the most basic model. And a detail that most have not told you, use a liquid cooling system combined with graphene to offer brutal power without heating up.
It supports 5G SA and NSA networks (globally this is all there is now) and closes the connectivity section with NFC, Dual GPS with a significant increase in accuracy, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. Something that is worth mentioning is that it offers the best sound of today (also tested by the DXOMark benchmark) with high quality stereo speakers.
Ms battery in the Mi 10, so that nobody complains
The last Mi of Xiaomi have had rather little battery and as well as MIUI manages it users want more and more. This year the Mi 10 they arrive with a minimum of 4500 mAh of battery for a brutal autonomous, along with a fast charge that reaches 50W in the Pro model. Both offer 30W wireless charging and even reverse wireless charging (a detail that is used to charge headphones although to do it with mobiles is still quite slow).
Xiaomi positions the Mi 10 Pro in the DXOMark TOP 1, a brutal camera!
We already know that questioning DXOMark is common, since a benchmark of photography is very difficult to measure as such to know what is really the best mobile in this task and what to prioritize to grant the punctuation. Nevertheless, It is the only reliable test we have to measure the capabilities of the camera and the Mi 10 Pro has been placed in the number 1 of the table, ahead of the impressive Mate 30 Pro (and that is very small).
Xiaomi has adopted the impressive 108 MP camera in its two Mi 10 and manages to surprise others high end With a very versatile camera. We enjoy an important improvement in the camera of the Mi 10 Pro (especially in terms of versatility) but what is clear is that photographers will find in this mobile an impressive camera.
Both of them record video in 8K and offer an impressive result. The video recording combines the OIS (optical stabilizer) with the EIS (electronic stabilizer) to offer results with a large stabilization and quality. Here is a video of what he is able to achieve.
Prices of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro
Because of the cancellation of this year's MWC, Xiaomi has decided to advance the presentation of the Mi 10 and present them in China. However, these are expected to be sold internationally very soon.
They will be available in pink, blue and black in the case of the basic model next to gray and white in the Pro model. Their prices start from 526 euros to change (which means that they will be more expensive in Europe), so it stays thing:
- Xiaomi Mi 10 of 8 + 128 GB: 526 euros.
- Xiaomi Mi 10 of 8 + 256 GB: 566 euros.
- Xiaomi Mi 10 of 12 + 256 GB: 618 euros.
- Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 8 + 256 GB: 659 euros.
- Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro of 12 + 256 GB: 724 euros.
- Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro of 12 + 512 GB: 790 euros.
We believe that if they are officially launched in Spain (everything indicates that they will do so soon) their prices start from 599 for the normal model and 699 for the Pro model, being able to be even older. Little or nothing is left of the cheap Xiaomi brand. The firm said in the past that it will manufacture expensive mobiles in order to offer the best of the best and has achieved it.
Even so, they are still prices that are almost in half of their opponents offering the same or better. What do you think of this new Xiaomi? We love it, because the brand continues to offer good devices at lower prices in the mid-range. But all those who want the best of the best will find considerable savings in Xiaomi without losing anything that the other high-end market offer.
