On many occasions, developers create applications inspired by specific mobile functions. Apps that activate gesture navigation are a good example. Another is the launchers, one of the most used applications in our mobiles.
The last one we tried is called MiX Launcher and is inspired by the interface that Xiaomi has created in MIUI 10, the latest version of its graphical interface. It is a gesture similar to the Rootless Launcher, an alternative that we told you today had been expelled from the Play Store.
Aesthetics similar, but with more options
The closest resemblance to this launcher with that of MIUI 10 is based on aesthetics. When we install it, the program asks us what wallpaper we want to use, what kind of icons and gives us some advice about its use.
Among the design options we will highlight the support for themes and also for icons. Even one of the predefined ones uses a design similar to Android Pie.
Many options to configure
If we enter the functions we can see that there is an application drawer, which opens either by clicking on an icon or by sliding on the screen. And speaking of gestures, We can modify the behavior of each gesture in the launcher so that it performs the function we want.
Among them are the full screen gestures that copy the operation of Xiaomi in your launcher, allowing you to return if we make the movement from the right or left edge, we can go to the beginning by sliding from below or open the recent apps if we slide and We keep the pulse.
List of Xiaomi phones that update to MIUI 10 and their dates
Xiaomi phones that upgrade to MIUI 10 already have official update calendar. We review it next to the list of mobiles that they update.
We can hide applications that we do not use or that we want to keep hidden by hiding access with a password.
The application is free although it is not in Spanish. Of course, the English necessary to use it is very basic and once we make the configuration of settings that we want it will not be necessary to change it.
