Just before December arrives, the 2018 flagships of the South Korean firm, which are the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 9, they are receiving a new software update that adds the respective security patch of that month.
The November security patch of these devices also began to be distributed at the end of October, so we see an important attention of the company towards its users, which is not very rare since we talk about top terminals, but remarkable.
As things stand today, Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus users in approximately 25 European markets should be able to obtain the new ‘N97 * FXXS1ASKB OTA’ package through the phone update menu.
As for the Galaxy Note 9, as we can say, currently only users in Germany have been treated with the respective software compilation ‘N960FXXS4CSK2’, which brings the same Android security patches for December.
For the most impatient among you, The Sammobile website has a complete firmware file where these packages can be downloaded and flash manually too. However, there is probably no real need to hurry, since Samsung is clearly ahead in this case. In addition, the OTA package only contains Google's December security patches. No other feature is part of Samsung, it seems.
The Android 10 roadmap for the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 takes us until January
The usual: we recommend having your phone connected to a stable and high-speed Wi-Fi network to download and then install the new firmware package, in order to avoid unwanted consumption of the provider's data package. It is also vital to have a good battery level to avoid any possible inconvenience during the installation process.
