It seems that Nokia is taking pleasure in presenting mobile phones every so often. A few weeks ago he announced the Nokia X6, a name-inspired terminal on an old Symbian.
That same model is what we will see marketed in the West as Nokia 6.1 Plus as we told you recently, and the same movement seems that we will see in the terminal to be announced in a few days.
In spite of everything we are far from the time when Nokia created models in which it simply changed one or two specifications and the color of the outer shell, at the end of the last century.
Nokia X5 for July 11
In 48 hours Nokia will present a new smartphone, presumably called Nokia X5 and that in some markets will be sold as Nokia 5.1.
This smartphone had been previously filtered and the specifications let us see that it would be a mid-range terminal.
It will have a screen of 5.86 inches and resolution 1520 x 720 px with a 19: 9 ratio, which is explained by the presence of the notch.
The processor will be the MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) with a 650MHz GPU, the IMG PowerVR GE8320. There will be three models depending on the RAM and ROM. The most basic will have 3 and 32, the medium 4 and 64 and the most powerful 6 and 64 GB.
The rear camera will be simple, 13 Mpx, and the front camera the same, but with 8 Mpx. It will have dual SIM slot, microSD, fingerprint sensor in the rear area and 3000 mAh battery.
It will come standard with Android 8.1 Oreo upgradeable to Android P seeing the history of the brand is almost certain that the version used will be Android One.
The high-end terminals remain for the end of the summer and the last quarter. HMD Global will surely announce at the IFA in Berlin new mid-range models with the Snapdragon 710 and high-end with the Snapdragon 845.
