Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with Android 10 appears on Geekbench

One of the strongest means of revenue collection that the Xiaomi company has; is the placement of ads within your custom MIUI OS. However, the company surprised me a lot when I launched the Mi A1 in 2017 and then the Mi A2 and the Mi A2 Lite of 2018 with Android Stock under Google's Android One program. In 2019, the Mi A3 also launched. The Mi A2 and A2 Lite were released with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system; however, they received the Android 9 update later. The Mi A2 Lite had been previously confirmed to receive the Android 10 update.
Recently it has been reported that several Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite units have appeared on Android 10 with GeekBench. The Smartphone includes versions with 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. Those Mi A2 Lite models are also listed on the MSM8953 motherboard; which integrates the Snapdragon 625 that feeds the Mi A2 Lite.
As indicated above, the Chinese company had confirmed that the My A2 Lite you will receive the latest update from Android; which corresponds to Android 10. This was decided by the company after dissatisfied users filed a petition for not receiving the Android 10 update on Change.org. Before the request was made, Xiaomi had hinted that he had plans to launch the update; therefore it was very likely that Android 10 was not arriving for the A2 Lite.
Now, Geekbench listings may be an indication that the update will be implemented very soon. It is expected that the Mi A2 is also receiving the Android 10 update; and in this way be able to have the latest operating system from Google. There is no doubt that this will be the last update of the operating system that the Mi A2 models will receive. We will have to be attentive to Xiaomi making the official announcement in the next few days.
