The dance of presentations at CES 2020 began and one of the first brands that presented novelties was Acer, which dazzled with new lines of its convertible star ConceptD 7 Ezel, in addition to renewed concepts for their Spin computers and their TravelMate P6 inditas, which have Large processing capacity and a featherweight.
The Chinese hardware manufacturer also took advantage of launching three new monitors for gamers, as well as a portable LED projector.
ConceptD 7 Ezel
It is ideal for heavy workflows, since it has a tenth generation Intel Core H-series processor, with NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU, it has up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and NVMe PCIe SSD up to 2 TB.
It also has a flexible hinge that allows five modes of use: sharing, floating, pad, screen and support. It has 3840 x 2160 resolution screens with 4K IPS (In-Plane Switching) that offer more than 8 million pixels. On the other hand, the touch screens of this line of laptops come with the Wacom EMR pen, which provides fast and accurate control.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel series screens are made of Gorilla Glass 6, so they are resistant to falling. They also include an anti-glare coating, which makes it easy to see images when used outdoors or under bright lights.
In its ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro and ConceptD 7 Ezel versions, they include two Thunderbolt 3 ports, for incredibly fast data transfer speeds, an SD card slot, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, an HDMI 2.0 port and a plain glass touch panel.

New air to the Spin series
The Chinese brand also renewed the Spin models, with the new Spin 5 and Spin 3, which feature thinner designs, latest generation Intel Core processors and Windows 10 Home. They also have a fast charging Acer Active Stylus, and Wacom AES technology, Wi-Fi 6 and a full range of ports, including USB Type C with support for Thunderbolt 3. It also comes with a hinge that features a design that Raise the keyboard in portable mode.
The difference between the two: the Spin 5 is only 0.59 inches (14.9 mm) thick, and features a striking 13.5-inch 2K touch screen, surrounded by thin bezels that are only 7.78 mm wide. In addition, the chassis and the hand rest are made of aluminum and magnesium, which gives it durability and lightness at the same time. It also comes with an integrated fingerprint reader for quick and safer logins through Windows Hello.
The Spin 3 has a large 14-inch Full HD screen, and a traditional 16: 9 aspect ratio and thin 7.82 mm bezels. It has a weight of 1.5 kg and a thickness of 0.67 inches with aluminum chassis.
TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2: high performance boom weight
Acer also announced its pen-weight laptops, TravelMate P6 and TravelMate P2, powerful and robust 14 and 15 inches with Intel Core i7 processors of the tenth generation and running Windows 10 Pro.
In the case of TravelMate P6, it exhibits a magnesium and aluminum alloy chassis, which is stronger and lighter than standard aluminum alloys with the same thickness. It weighs 1.1 kg and measures 16.6 mm. It has up to 23 hours of battery life and can be charged up to 50% in less than 45 minutes.
The TravelMate P2, meanwhile, has an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX230 GPU for powerful computing and graphics performance, with up to 32 GB of fast DDR4 memory, a configurable dual-unit system with 1 TB of high HDD capacity and a 4-lane PCIe SSD 512 GB sensitive sper. For port lovers, it comes with a wide range of media, such as VGA, HDMI and USB Type-C, while the available ports can easily be expanded through an Acer USB Type-C Dock.
New Predator Gaming monitors
For video game lovers who demand high image quality, Acer welcomed its family to 32-inch Predator X32 monitors, the 37.5-inch Predator X38 and the 55-inch Predator CG552K.
The Predator X32 comes with NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE and a 1,152 zone local dimming mini-panel with UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) that offers a brightness of up to 1,440 nits. Equipped with an IPS panel, it provides wide-angle views of up to 178 degrees, helping players aim well at the objectives. It also has three HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports and four USB 3.0 ports. It also comes with two 4W stereo speakers.
The Predator X38 is a 37.5-inch (3840 x 1600) UWQHD + monitor, with an NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, and with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification that guarantees excellent brightness, contrast and color gamut. To increase viewing comfort, the ergonomic support allows players to adjust the monitor to find their optimal viewing position with a tilt of -5 to 35 degrees, swivel +/- 30 degrees and height adjustment of 5.11 inches. It comes with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. The monitor also comes with two 7 W speakers that offer quality 14 W audio.
Finally, the Predator CG552 has a giant 55-inch 4K OLED panel (3840 x 2160) with millions of individual pixels to deliver spectacular image quality. It also supports a variable refresh rate (VRR) through HDMI to play smoothly on compatible devices. It comes with a built-in proximity sensor, which detects if someone is within range, entering an energy saving mode when the user is out of the area. It includes three HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort v1.4 ports, a USB Type-C port and two USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Two 10 W speakers offer 20 W of dynamic audio and customizable light strips improve hardware aesthetics.
B250i portable led projector
This compact device features Full HD 1080p wireless projection, autofocus and excellent audio fidelity in a portable chassis. It has a size of only 205 mm x 204 mm x 78 mm and weighs just 1,450 g. The compact projector has a pair of 5 W camera speakers with passive radiators with Waves Maxx audio and Acer TrueHarmony technology, which gives you impressive sound that produces sharp, clear bass notes.
The B250i offers wireless screen mirroring, which is available via Wi-Fi for Android and iOS users, in addition to a standard HDMI port for connecting and displaying content from a desktop or laptop. The USB Type-C (display and charging) and Type-A ports are also available, which supports video output for cell phones and PCs. The B250i is ready to use without additional software to duplicate the screen or play multimedia directly.
