ZTE brings several novelties for this Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. And he has introduced us the ZTE Grand S3, your new device to enter fully to compete in the mid-high range.
It is a phablet with a 5.5-inch screen with a FullHD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels). It incorporates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 four-core processor at 2.5 GHZ accompanied by 3GB of RAM. It has a 16 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front, for lovers of selfies.
ZTE doesn't surprise us, even more when presenting a 2015 terminal with a 2014 processor. Obviously, it is a more than competent terminal, however we do not find a top of range. Neither is its price.
The only feature that gives personality to the new terminal of the Chinese manufacturer, it is the incorporation of a biometric eye sensor, that allow us, among other things, to make payments or unlock the terminal just by reading our eyes. The system, likewise, seems more secure than the fingerprint and for that it makes use of EyeVerify technology.
As for your design, The new ZTE Grand S3 does not enjoy a novel design. It is a polycarbonate terminal with a multi-colored finish. Along with it, the terminal come with Android 5.0 Lollipop from the factory and have the own personalization layer of ZTE.
The terminal starts at a price of 430 euros. Something high considering that, for a year, we have terminals of similar characteristics with a somewhat lower price, such as the OnePlus One or the Sony Xperia Z2, which can already be below 380 euros.
What do you think of the new mid-high range of ZTE?
