Alcatel is one of those brands that often goes unnoticed, in the shadow of large companies, during the celebration of fairs such as the Berlin IFA, but once everyone has put the cards on the table, you look and always leave some interesting detail. On this occasion, they have presented OneTouch Xess, a 17-inch tablet that we included in our video review of the best tablets that have come to the German capital, but also the OneTouch PIXI 3, in its variant with 10-inch screen and three operating systems to choose from.
It is possible that the name PIXI 3 sounds to you, and this is not the first device in the range that reaches the market. It was in early 2015 when Alcatel introduced this family with a smartphone in four different sizes, 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 inches, which was characterized by being the first with the ability to run three different operating systems: Android, Windows and Firefox OS. Although you can't have all at the same time, but you have to choose one when making the purchase, the idea seems to have penetrated well among consumers because months later, they are reiterated in their bet, this time with a 10-inch tablet.
The device that has been presented at the IFA is that, a variant with a 10-inch screen of the smartphones with which it shares its name. In fact, it is said that two more tablets, 7 and 8 inches respectively, could soon join this family, although for now we don't know anything else. The key in a market that goes downhill is to look for the difference, something that separates you from the rest to find your own way, and the ability to choose between three operating systems can be a good way to do it especially in the basic range where OneTouch PIXI 3 (10) is included.
