A conference in China was held by OnePlus earlier this week. This announced its 120Hz fluid display which will be used by its next Smartphone Star. The screen looks very interesting, it will not only have a higher refresh rate than the OnePlus 7 series; but to be a better screen for everything.
Through the social network Twitter, a couple of days ago, Pete Lau shared a 120Hz screen simulation video; making the comparison with a 60 Hz screen. The video seeks to show as the highest refresh rate; It allows a much more fluid movement.

The function is difficult to capture in the camera, however OnePlus tries to do it by simulation; this by slowing the video at one point, so that the difference can be captured.
OnePlus has not yet made official what its next Smartphone will have with this new visualization technology; however, it is presumed to be limited only to OnePlus 8 Pro. Meanwhile the standard OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Lite must be equipping a 90Hz screen.
One possibility that arises is that OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro have an update frequency of 120Hz; the difference will be reflected in the resolution of the screen. The OnePlus 8 will adhere to an FHD + resolution; Meanwhile the OnePlus 8 Pro will have a resolution of 2K +. OnePlus with this gets an advantage over the Samsung Galaxy S20 series screen; which does not support 120Hz when the screen resolution is set to WQHD +.
We are almost certain that the OnePlus 8 Pro will adopt WQHD + 120Hz, which is an aggressive company, a young man, and Samsung s performance looks like an elderly person, it has lost its vitality. pic.twitter.com/aAyN4FOH61

The 120Hz fluid display will also feature a maximum brightness of more than 1000 nits; which is a 240Hz touch sampling rate; MEMC technology and a JNCD (notable color difference) leader in the industry of less than 0.8.
