Motorola and Verizon announced this week that the Moto Mod 5G for the Moto Z3 It can be booked from March 14 and received just in time for the arrival of the Verizon 5G network to Chicago and Minneapolis in April.

Users can reserve the module for the Moto Z3 from March 14 for a price of US $ 50, just a part of the actual price of US $ 350 that the module will have when it reaches the market. It is important to note that the Moto Mod 5G only works with the Moto Z3 phone.

Verizon also announced the arrival of its 5G network to Chicago and Minneapolis starting April 11. Verizon said "quickly" expand its coverage to more countries. Verizon said in February that it intends to offer 5G in more than 30 U.S. cities before the end of the year.

Also, Verizon will be giving away a travel charger with USB Type-C connector to the first buyers of the Motorola module.

Motorola was one of the first cell phone manufacturers to announce a smart phone compatible with 5G networks, it even did so since 2018 when manufacturers such as Huawei or Samsung have not officially made their phone plans with the same feature (which they already did but even the beginning of 2018). By adding support for 5G networks, Motorola last year launched an immediate future-proof phone that could soon be used with the next generation of cellular connection.
