A basic version of the already basic
When Motorola announced the Moto E5, it did so thinking of a low price and performance range. The Moto E have always taken that place, but never as much as with the new Moto E5 Play, the most economical variant.
It will have a Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 425, as well as 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable internal memory.
The rear camera lowers its resolution to 8 Mpx and the front camera stays at 5 Mpx. However, the most striking thing is that the battery falls below 4000 mAh from normal Moto E to only 2800 mAh.
The screen, on the other hand, passes from the 5.2 inches of the American Moto E5 Play at 5.3 inches, but maintains its HD + resolution of 1440 x 720 px.
In addition, the Android version, while still being Oreo, becomes Android GO, which explains the decrease in RAM.
Price and availability
One of the most attractive factors of this model is the price, of only 109 euros. It can be purchased in Europe and Latin America from the same month of July.
The idea is to sell it through certain distributors with a strong online presence, such as Amazon, The Phone House, etc.
