Because of a zero-vulnerability that will allow hackers to take control of any computer, the US government recommended immediately updating the Mozilla Firefox browser.
Specifically, the suggestion of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), under the Department of Homeland Security, points to versions 72.0.1 and ESR 68.4.1.
Mozilla has released security updates to address a vulnerability in Firefox and Firefox ESR. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to take control of an affected system, ”says the federal agency's statement.
The affected firm is aware of the vulnerability, which is why it launched an update on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. In addition, it described the vulnerability of zero (CVE-2019-17026) as "critical", as it could allow pirates computer access to users' browsers and computers.
