The details of the Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung's new folding phone have constantly appeared over the past few weeks. The Galaxy Z Flip is expected to make a formal debut next month along with the Galaxy S20. Now, more news about the Galaxy Z Flip comes from the XDA TV host and the XDA developer team Max Weinbach. These are the same sources that have revealed credible information about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 +.
According to the source, the Galaxy Z Flip has a 3300 mAh battery. Although its capacity looks insufficient for current standards, it is taller than that of his direct rival, the Moto Razr (2510 mAh). The device works with the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The Z Flip screen uses ultra-thin glass panels, unlike the plastic layer that covers the Galaxy Fold panel. Nevertheless, Samsung offer a replaceable plastic sheet at the top of the screen, in case users want to replace the protector after a while. This significantly reduces the cost of removing scratches from the screen.
The Galaxy Z Flip was exhibited behind closed doors at the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020. The phone has the Galaxy Bloom code name. Its trade name “Galaxy Z Flip” was confirmed by Ice Universe last week through Twitter. The phone is expected to come with specifications similar to the Galaxy S10.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip design
Some leaked photos of the Galaxy Z Flip appeared on Weibo in December 2019. The images revealed that the phone with a cover, flaunts a perforated screen or Infinity-O with rounded corners and thin bevels. Unlike the Galaxy Fold, the Flip it has a horizontally mounted hinge that disappears when the screen is folded in half. When it unfolds, the screen does not show wrinklesbut reveals a high aspect ratio and a perforated chamber located in the center.
The back panel presents a configuration of Dual rear camera with an LED flash. Right next to the camera module is a small secondary display which shows notifications. You can see a USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. An audio jack is not visible, so it is not yet known whether to be present. It is also not known if you have a fingerprint scanner on the screen. Nor was a physical sensor revealed in the images.
Specifications and filtered features
It will have a 6.7 inch main screen and one 1 secondary secondary display inch. It will be enhanced with the Snapdragon 855 along with 8 GB of memory RAM. The internal storage will arrive up to 256 GB. It will run One UI 2.0 based on Android 10.
The Z Flip is expected to flaunt a 10 megapixel front camera. The specifications of the rear cameras are unknown. Samsung can offer a 15W fast charger with the Z Flip.
Samsung is expected to host the launch event of the new Galaxy S20 line on February 11. The new folding phone is expected to be displayed at the event.
