It is expected that along with the new Galaxy S20 line; Samsung is launching its long-awaited Galaxy Buds + wireless headphones. Both devices will be having their official premiere in February 2020. Their images were recently detected in the latest version of the Samsung SmartThings application. 91mobiles also published a clear representation of the Buds +; announcing design details of these before launch.
What's new in the Galaxy Buds +
According to the render that came up, Galaxy Buds + are very similar in design to the original Galaxy Buds; counting even with a very similar carrying case. Among the differences that can be highlighted is the blue variant additional along with the black and white color options. Samsung claims to have included in the functionality of the new Galaxy Buds the active noise cancellation; this in an attempt to face the Apple AirPods Pro that have been recently launched.
Although in its design the Galaxy Buds + are quite similar to its predecessor; The silicone earmuffs that this presents are smaller, and offer a better seal. Samsung has also added a glossy touch panel; this to control music playback, activate voice assistants and also to answer calls. The charging case still presents a design in the form of a pldora; just as the previous generation of wireless headphones did. Additional features include wireless charging and USB Type-C support.
The only outstanding difference at the design level is the addition of the left and right physical buttons; which are located below the LED indicator that monitors the battery level in the individual buttons. It is expected that the sound quality has been improved in relation to its predecessor. The presence of active noise cancellation could increase the overall price compared to first generation headphones. The other details of the headphones will be revealed as their release date approaches.
