The challenges of the second week in this Fortnite season have arrived. There are quite a few goals to consider, but there is only one that is really challenging and fun. As usual, in this guide we will focus on it. But first, let's see all that are available in this week of the Battle Royale video game.
Week 2, season 9 of challenges
There are seven new challenges in this second week of the season, including three available to all, while the remaining four are only for the Battle Pass owners. Unfortunately, the most important is exclusive, so you will need the pass if you don't have it yet.
Our recommendation is that there is no better time to get the battle pass than now, since the season has just begun. If you are interested in all the challenges this week, you can see them in our screenshot above. Without further ado, let's look at the biggest challenge of the week, entitled "Visit a huge phone, a very large piano and a giant trophy of dancing fish."
Gua: visit a huge phone, a very large piano and a giant dancing fish trophy
If you are a veteran of Battle Royale from previous seasons, you are very likely to recognize this kind of challenge. They usually occur practically in each season, and sometimes there are even more than one. The premise is always the same: find the location of three different statues or objects on the map, and then view them.
This time, it's about finding and visiting a huge phone, a very large piano and a giant dancing fish trophy. And if you think you know where they were previously, we must inform you that they were moved.
It seems that the trip to the future in season nine next to the volcano eruption caused the monuments to find new homes around the map. We will cover all three places, but first, there are some tips to keep in mind before starting.
We recommend that you do this challenge in Team Rumble mode. It is a consistent way that allows you to have more players on your team, fewer enemies to worry about, more time to explore, and the possibility of resurrection.
Also, be sure to activate the Party Assist so you can complete the objective as quickly as possible. It can be found from the challenge tab of the main lobby. This allows your groupmates to progress in your own challenge, so count for you too. While this can be completed in one game, it took us a total of two.
Location: huge phone
The first thing we must find is the huge phone. This has the peculiarity of being the only one who hasn't moved from location since we saw him in season eight, so maybe you remember where he is. It is also the only one you can see in two different places.
The first huge phone is located on the north side of the island. We recommend that you do not go here if you are trying to complete the challenge in the shortest possible time, as it is quite far from the other two. But, if you are forced to land at this end of the island, you can always go to visit the phone to complete this first part.
You can find the huge phone directly east of The Block, and northwest of Lazy Lagoon. This is the Pizza Pit phone. If you don't want to go here, the location of the other phone is at the opposite end of the island. It is located just northwest of Lucky Landing, and southwest of Fatal Fields, above a large mountain on the edge of the plains and the snow biome. All you have to do is get close enough to the giant object until the notification appears on your screen. There is also at least one chest next to both phones, so be sure not to lose it if you are looking for equipment.
Location: giant dance fish trophy
The giant dancing fish trophy is very close to the phone in the southern part of the map. The slipstreams will be your best help if you want to complete this quickly. We recommend using them to reach the second location, which can be found just southwest of the new shopping center.
You might remember this giant dancing fish trophy from when I was on top of the building in Retail Row, but now the place became Mega Mall. And now, the trophy is in a house south of the place. This place is easier to lose sight of since it is literally on the roof of the house, so be sure to see our catch up here.
While the phones will count for the challenge even if you are standing something away from them, we did not see the notification for the trophy until we were on the roof or entered the house. This is what makes it complicated, since you should check the houses until you find the correct one.
Location: very large piano
The third and final object we have to visit is the very large piano, which you may remember from an earlier challenge as well. He was moved a little east of the previous place, fell just north of the abandoned mansin, and southeast of Lonely Lodge on the edge of a cliff. Go to the place to complete this challenge.
Reward: visit a huge phone, a very large piano and a giant dancing fish trophy
The reward for completing this challenge is five Battle Stars, enough to guarantee the leveling of half the tier on the battle pass.
