Xbox chief Phil Spencer has been discussing E3 2020, Xbox Series X and more with Japanese Studios – TecNews, your information portal

"Always get motivated by the incredible creative talent here in Japan," says Spencer.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently revealed on Twitter that he was in Japan, talking to several studios and publishers about 2020 and beyond. Recently, Spencer returned to Twitter, with his week in Japan over, speaking briefly about what his conversations with several Japanese developers and publishers implied.

Spencer says he spent his week talking to several studies and editors about E3 2020, which Microsoft has confirmed that be attend, as well as other things, such as the upcoming Xbox Series X and Microsoft services such as Game Pass and Project xCloud. Although Spencer (obviously) says nothing about it, given the number of times he has expressed his interest in the past, one will hope that he has also discussed the possibility of acquiring a Japanese study. Check out his tweet below.

Given how proactive Spencer has been in terms of working with Japanese developers and publishers to get more support for Xbox and get more traction for the brand in Japan, it's not surprising to hear about this. We look forward to seeing something exciting as a result of these discussions in the near future.
