WithingsScanWatch, the smartwatch that detects sleep apnea

The French company Withings has presented at CES 2020 a new smartwatch with an iconic traditional design. But although it may seem like a smart watch more, the new WithingsScanWatch It claims to be the watch for the most advanced physical well-being in the world.

The star feature of the WithingsScanWatch is that now can recognize sleep apnea, an evil that affects millions of people that prevents them from breathing while they sleep.

According to Withings this new smartwatch uses a new SpO2 sensor which transmits a light to the blood vessels. This system performs measurements overnight and detects when not getting enough oxygen. This will help many people know that they have respiratory problems and that it can lead to heart problems or a stroke.

WithingsScanWatch focuses on monitoring your health before something happens to you

This watch also includes a sensor to perform an electrocardiogram and a pulse monitoring sensor.

In addition to these sensors focused on the well-being of your health, it also has more typical details of a smartwatch such as the monitoring of 30 sports activities such as running, cycling, gym exercises and many more.

It includes a battery that allows you to use it for 30 days and as in other Withings it does not have GPS, but use the mobile phone to store activities.

It uses traditional straps so that any available in stores can be used and can be submerged up to 50 meters, although it is not suitable for diving, but rather fast dives or swimming.

Be available in the second quarter of the year, before summer and cost 249 in its 38mm version and of 299 in its 42mm version.
