While the ceramic edition of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus already comes with 12GB of RAM, it is not using this new chip. Instead, the phone uses an older one made with a 20-nanometer process.
The new 12GB chip uses a 10-nanometer process that, according to Samsung, allows more space inside the phone for the battery and minimizes energy consumption.
Phones with this new RAM module can easily handle more than five cameras, larger screen sizes, Artificial Intelligence and 5G. Multitasking on a phone with 12GB of RAM will also be much more fluid, Samsung said.
