The adoption of AI, the internet of things (IoT, for its acronym in English) and the 5G standard transform the way in which we interact with the environment, printing in our lives greater comfort and enjoyment. At the same time, it is necessary to advance in energy saving, reduction of pollutant emissions and sustainability.

Smart buildings will also make life more connected. For example, people who live in them may call the elevators, turn off the lights, manage order deliveries or verify parking places with the swipe of a finger or by voice command. Smart appliances installed in these buildings request repairs and solve problems before people know, complement the company.

To achieve this goal, Samsung emphasized the importance of collaboration, so it is exploring alliances with construction companies and property managers, such as Greystar Real Estate Partners, from the United States.

“People's experience be more intelligent, efficient and effective, so they will use less energy. Samsung has the ability to bring together all the technologies, and getting that technology convergence in one place is really decisive, ”said Greystar president and CEO Bob Faith.

The mixture of 5G, Edge Computing and IA transform the urban transport experience, emphasized the South Korean technology giant, which seeks to lead a new era in the automotive industry, based on vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, which connect the Vehicles with the environment.

Smart cities with 5G could provide experiences to communities that were not imaginable a few years ago. “A faster and easier digital connection between us will strengthen our sense of community and create completely new forms of relationship between us,” said Emily Becher.
