Vivo has been boasting a lot about its next 5G smartphone, which is the I live X30. While the company had officially named it in a recent development, it is not until now that we have the announced release date of the device in question.
The company has confirmed only a few hours ago that Vivo X30 will be formalized in China on December 16. The Vivo X30 Pro is also expected to launch, which will arrive with support for the SA and NSA modes of the 5G network.
These will not only be the first dual-mode 5G smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer, but also the first 5G mobiles in the company's line of X devices. It is already confirmed that the Vivo X30 will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 980 chipset, but not much is known about the Pro variant.
The Samsung Exynos 980 offers support for the integrated 5G baseband and is the world's first integrated chipset with a 5G modem. This uses the Cortex A77 architecture, which is also promoted as the first in the world.
The company has said that the dual mode 5G AI chipset has been jointly created by Vivo and Samsung. According to reports, the Chinese company has made several optimizations to ensure an optimal 5G experience in the Exynos 980. It has proposed a preferred solution for international roaming, a 5G scene power consumption solution and a game delay solution to ensure a trouble-free operation in 5G environments for the chipset.
The smartphone has a quad camera settings at the back in the upper left corner. The quad camera configuration includes three vertically placed cameras, plus a periscope lens and an LED flash. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that the Vivo X30 series will come with support for 60x super zoom.
