PlayStation announces the DualShock 4 back button accessory – TecNoticias, your information portal
For years, competitive players have used paddles on the back of their controllers to give them the advantage in games. From the line of premium Scuf Gaming gamepads to the first-party Xbox One Elite controllers, we have seen these palettes appear on several high-end controllers. Today, Sony announced a new accessory that gives similar functionality to its standard DualShock 4 controllers.
The PlayStation back button accessory slides on the bottom of your DualShock 4 and you can assign up to 16 different buttons. For example, if you want the right back button to act as a shortcut for the triangle, while the left back button is a shortcut for R1, you can assign it as such. The backspace accessory features an OLED screen that shows what each button is assigned to.
You can save three profiles in the attachment of the Atrs button, so you can switch between the settings of the games you play the most on the fly. It also features a headphone pitch, so you can still use 3.5mm headphones with the peripheral.
