Following the presentation of the seventh edition of the International Digital Content Forum, FICOD, organized by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism through the public entity Red.es, it was known that this year focus is shifted to all areas that make up the digital economy.
Vctor Calvo Sotelo, Secretary of State for Telecommunications and for the Information Society, has announced the program of the event, whose themes include news such as digital transformation, internet of things, 3D printing, big data and cloud computing, which join those already programmed in previous editions: digital communication and marketing, video games, e-learning, animation, electronic commerce, apps, music and new media.
It is an event created with the industry, which contributes to consolidate Spain as a competitive market, supports the search for investment and financing, disseminates the best products and services in the sector and promotes digital professions as a future employment option for young Spaniards Calvo-Sotelo said during his speech.
Vctor Calvo-Sotelo also revealed the identity of the inaugural speaker of FICOD 2015. This is Porter Erisman, former vice president of the Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba and one of the world's largest authorities on electronic commerce in emerging markets. Erisman talk about the keys to online commerce and his personal experience within the Chinese giant.
FICOD also has the presence of Phillipe Gelis, CEO of Kantox; Anant Agarwal, president of the EDX e-learning platform; Guy Gadney, director of The Project Factory (producer of series like Sherlock or Downton Abbey); Agustn Alonso, Transmedia Project Coordinator at RTVE (The Ministry of Time); Justin Wong, Vice President of Strategic Alliances of the Twicht online platform or the entrepreneurs Jordan Casey (12-year-old creator of iTunes bestselling Alien Ball vs. Humans) and Luis Ivn Cuende (best European programmer under 18 in 2011).
This year, the forum grows in medical activities and live demonstrations, dedicated especially to the youngest public students and professionals, and becomes the meeting point of the sector in all its areas of activity. The Secretary of State has stressed that in this way, FICOD is perfected as one of the key tools of the Digital Agenda for Spain, the strategy launched by the Government in 2013 to develop the economy and digital society in Spain.

FICOD Talent, the place where young people and professionals looking to be prepared can find the best training plans that allow them to opt for future professions, both in Spain and abroad.
FICOD Financing, the entrepreneurship forum where the digital projects that stand out in Spain will be exhibited. There, entrepreneurs and startups meet with investors looking for business opportunities and with companies and entities that offer support in their growth.
FICOD Festival, the most medical and recreational space of FICOD, dedicated to technological demonstrations of robotics and 3D prints, interactive tables, video games, live competitions, virtual reality simulators and other activities dedicated to the entertainment of the attendees.
The director of Economa Digital de Red.es, Jorge Prez, also participated in the presentation of FICOD; the general director of Adigital, Jos Luis Zimmermann, and the vice president of AMETIC, Ignacio Prez Dolset, who have maintained a colloquium with Daniel Noguera the dynamics of the future of the Digital Content sector.
They have been joined by three young talents Antonio Rami, co-founder and COO of Kantox; Fabin Len, former Masterchef and CEO and co-founder of Foodinthebox, and Jos Manuel Gonzlez de Rueda, founder of the Zeus Creative Technologies platform, who have talked about entrepreneurship and the need to strengthen support for new projects.
