We know that Samsung is preparing new folding smartphones and who intends to do it with new form factors. One of those that seems more plausible is the shell type format that we have already seen in the Motorola RAZR, and that even the company already showed in a sketch. Today we could have the first images of this device, and it is that a leak from China shows us in photographs.
A new folding smartphone very different from Fold
While with the Samsung Galaxy Fold the company seeks to offer a larger workspace, with Samsung's new folding smartphone it will go right in the opposite direction. In this case, we will seek to offer a smartphone with a usual screen size, but that folded occupies half of its space.
The images that have leaked come from China and are sent to us by Ice Universe from your Twitter account. In them you see a device very similar to the sketch that Samsung showed, including the hole in the screen for the selfie camera. We can also see how once folded the device has a mini screen on its cover, which shows the battery and time information, and we also imagine it with the notifications.
In the same way we can see that en the rear we will have two cameras, which are located next to this mini screen when the phone is folded.
Of course this can be a simple prototype and the company has been testing this format for a while. However, it already allows us to catch a glimpse of what Samsung's next foldable smartphone will be in case it reaches the streets.
