The presentation event of the new Xiaomi mobiles in Spain was quite spectacular. It has been the largest in global terms that the company has made outside its home country and the two mobiles they have announced will be a reference in their respective ranges.
Despite this we have seen that some differences have begun to emerge depending on the market in which they are going to be marketed. Specifically, India will be the country that, for the moment, will see more changes.
Quick Charge 4.0 only in India
If we look at the list of accessories included in the sales package of the Xiaomi Mi A2 we will check that there is a standard 5V / 2A fast charger.
However, like the Xiaomi Mi A1, the Xiaomi Mi A2 can use Quick Charge 3.0. The funny thing is that in India this model will be compatible with Quick Charge 4.0, something that will not be seen in other markets.
In both cases we will have to buy those chargers since the serial one as we say does not reach those loading speeds.
The 32GB Xiaomi Mi A2 will not be sold in India
The negative part for the users of this country is that they will not be able to buy the cheapest version of the three presented in Madrid on the 24th.
We refer to the model with 4 GB of RAM but 32 GB of internal memory, which will start at a price of 249 euros in Spain. Thus, Asian buyers must comply with the 4 and 64 and the 6 and 128 GB.
Nor will they have the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite available, which will not be commercialized directly in that country.
On August 8, the Xiaomi Mi A2 will be announced in India and we will check if there are more differences.
