Indies or beastly graphics games? Google groups you and you choose

Google has a new section in the Google Play Store dedicated to indies games, small jewels created by small studios that make us fall in love. And another for those who better graphics have.

Finding good applications in the Google Play Store is sometimes difficult, partly because there are many and partly because the filters and discovery options have yet to improve.

This happens especially in games, with many proposals cloned from others and with repetitive games that occupy prominent positions. From time to time Google promotes the discovery of some jewels as it did in its recent contest of the best indie games, among which there was a Spanish proposal.

The indie games corner

Inside the store there is a section in which only small developer games stand out. In it we see four categories.

  • Winners of the contest: here we will see the games that we talked about a few days ago that had been chosen finalists of the contest.
  • Indie news: if we look for the newest this is a new section.
  • Indie Selection: Here Google recommends those that, according to them, are more worthwhile.
  • Masterpieces: it is not necessary to explain much more. A must test.

And another corner for those who have great graphics

Next to that corner there is another, somewhat smaller, in which games whose visual appearance is striking are highlighted.

Specifically we have three that will be published shortly: TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight, Battle Breakers and Injustice 2. We can register to receive a notice when they can download.

In this case they are created by large budget and renowned studios and the investment required to make them and the cost of licensing and marketing are not available to all developers.
