Hearthstone: Best Descent of Dragon Decks – Hearthstone

The best Descent of Dragons decks for December 2019 (Season 69), with lists of Druid, Hunter, Wizard, Paladn, Priest, Pcaro, Chamn, Warlock and Warrior decks.

Descent of Dragons has finally arrived, and with it we have received a ton of new decks, modifications to the existing ones and, of course, many dragons.

Some Highlander decks are still going around, but there has been a large influx of Galakrond-based decks that go up the finish line. Everything is thanks to the new Invoke keyword that gives you many different hero powers and, in turn, a variety of ways.

To help you navigate the early stages of the new Descent of Dragons goal, we have prepared a guide that describes the best goal and experimental decks. Expect that many of these archetypes change over time, as well as mallet lists.

Once the goal is resolved, we will update this page with lists of new and revised mallets, and keep it updated with all the settings. To keep track of things, be sure to bookmark this page.

The usual advice applies to this expansion:

  • Use these mallet lists as starting points in the first few weeks and let the improved mallet builder complete all that is missing in your collection.
  • If you are still not convinced and want to wait for the goal to be resolved, we can also help you. Our Budget Decent of Dragons Decks page is up and running, so head over to try some new things while setting the goal.
  • If you are looking for a quick description of the ever changing goal, our List of Coverage Levels is a perfect resource to keep you up to date.

With that out of the way, here is our summary of the best decks of Descent of Dragons. Again, we are always refining them, so watch for changes:

Druid Decks

Druid has had some success in this expansion. The Token Druid deck is now based on the new Treant Synergies brought to Descent of Dragons, and sees a decent profit rate, but other decks have surpassed it in a big way.

Other druid presences at the finish line include Dragon Ramp Druid and Quest Druid. Dragons have been a fairly important part of this last expansion, of course, but it seems that the Druid class simply couldn't keep up with the fastest and most value-oriented mallets. However, Quest Druid received nothing at all in the expansion, so we don't see him play that much. Even so, it seems he has a lower victory rate than in Saviors of Uldum, but he is likely to catch some enemies off guard.

Goal

Hunter Decks

Hunter has had a good time in Descent of Dragons, continuing since the class's strong career in Saviors of Uldum.

We have multiple strong Highlander mallets, as well as an improved version of Quest Hunter and a new archetype of Dragn in a medium / aggro cast.

The best mallets make great use of Zul'jinThe great battle cry and the other tools obtained by Hunter have been a bit more discreet in Descent of Dragons. Most mallets have been subtly reinforced, but the Dragn package has potential in numerous decks. Storm hammer It is a particularly powerful card, which does not lose Durability when you have a Dragn in play that allows you to continue inflicting damage to your enemy without fear of running out.

The Quest has received Shu'ma, the constant value generator, and Veranus It has offered a decent AOE board weakening effect for your opponent, although its tracking requirement makes it less powerful than it seems.

Wizard decks

Before Descent of Dragons, it seemed that Mage could be on the rise once again, with his Highlander archetype coming back to the front as before the Luna Pocket Galaxy became nervous. Unfortunately for Jaina, this didn't work at all. Highlander Mage is still fine, and Dragonqueen Alexstrasza It is always a welcome addition. Malygos, aspect of magic It has also worked well, and a Dragn package has been added to the deck. In many other metagames, Mage will do extremely well, however, at this moment the power level of the decks you will encounter is too high. However, you can still find success with one of these Mage decks, and it is worth a try: they are fun and enjoyable decks to handle.

Paladin decks

Dragon Paladin is so close to being a thing. Annoying, despite the best efforts of the developers, he never reached the top of the goal. Even so, it has been so much fun to try it, and the various dragons and unique mechanics of the Paladin class have given rise to some decent mallets, despite their inability to completely master the goal.

Murloc Paladin stays, as is Holy wrath The OTK potential of Paladin. However, a fun one is Pure Paladin, a Paladin deck that only requires Paladin cards, not neutral. All of these have a solid performance in the goal, so it is worth giving them a chance.

Priest Decks

I thought the priest will return to the goal of Descent of Dragons? Unfortunate friend. Combo Priest is still kicking with a mediocre win rate, but all the additions in the class have not cut the mustard. Galakrond for Priest is not as good as another class, despite its infinite value potential. Galakrond, the unspeakable It just doesn't have a deck that fits right now. However, regardless of this, Murozond, the Infinite is a hugely fun card to play, and it is worth the time and effort if you already have the cards.

Rebel mallets

Rogue received some great tools in Descent of Dragons. Galakrond, the nightmare It is one of the funniest Galakrond cards to play, despite the occasional difficulties of the deck to draw the correct card at the right time.

Necrium apothecary It has turned out to work very well in Rogue, since its Combo effect allows the class to take a Mechanical Cra and get a lot of statistics if Deathrattle can be activated. Combined with Necrium sword, you can finish with a pair of 7 / 7s in turn 4 ready to hit the face. It will get lost quite a lot after the rotation of the standard format, so use Necrium apothecary and all the things associated with him while you can. Maybe one day, one Wax The mallet will also be viable.

Shaman Decks

Now this is where the magic happens. Shaman's Galakrond deck is ridiculously powerful, and he took over the goal almost immediately after the release of Descent of Dragons. Soon be nerfeado, but you can not exaggerate the impact it has had on the metagame. Summon two sbditos 8/8 with Rush, in addition to getting a 5/2 Claw and be able to reproduce all that with Shudderwock means, medium Galakrond, the storm It has an enormously powerful impact on the game.

The mlolocs continue to spin too, although there is very little new or interesting in that deck. However, Murloc Shaman is one of the cheapest decks available, so if you have little money, try it.

Goal

Warlock Decks

For Warlock, it's Zoo or bust. We haven't seen a lot of strange decks coming out of the class, despite the powerful letters I received from the last expansion.

Quest Warlock, formerly known as Plot twist Warlock, unfortunately, is still seeing some really low profit rates, but we recommend giving it a try anyway considering how satisfying it can be when things are going well. The control tools that Warlock received have not been enough to drive a hard-controlled Warlock archetype, but the likes of Valdris Felgorge and Zzeraku the deformed They have given the class the chance to recover the old favorite Handlock.

Galakrond, the wretched It is focused on the zoo, but with many low-power Demons in Standard format at this time, it is difficult to summon large henchmen reliably with the Battle Cry of the card, which means that it is primarily useful exclusively for flood purposes board if necessary.

Goal

Warrior Decks

Pirate Warrior is back, to the delight of the aggro and Patches fans, the Pirate (probably). The new legendary weapon Ancharrr It gives Pirate Warrior the chance to become aggressive and accept if it doesn't work. Skybarge It's another little fun addition that allows the Warriors to achieve an easy victory or suffer a bad defeat depending on their draws.

Warrior Galakrond, the unbreakable He is also doing quite well, finding his own archetype inside the Pirate mold, but also in his own aggro style. At least the ladder is not full of Dr. Boom, crazy genius and Control Warrior ms, right?
