Xiaomi has taken out all the artillery with its RedMi brand and today has presented its new Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G, two versions of the same device whose only difference is connectivity with 5G networks. These new devices come with a peculiar design that highlights its module for the rear cameras, something that had leaked and that we can now see in detail.
120 Hz display with double camera
One of the highlights of this terminal is that we will finally see a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. When a few devices bet on 90Hz, Xiaomi's second brand has broken the deck and raised the stakes.
With a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, Redmi has taken advantage of the spaces, leaving only a double hole in the upper right for a double front camera composed of a 20MP lens and a secondary 2MP lens.
In these models we will not have a fingerprint sensor under the screen, but it has been located on one side of the terminal.
The rear part has a finish of bright colors and reflections, which highlights a circle that houses a vertical module for four cameras, with a double flash under them. Within the Redmi K30 5G, in this module a main camera of 64MP with an aperture f / 1.89, a wide angle of 120 of 8MP with aperture f / 2.2, a 5MP lens for macro photography and a 2MP lens with f / 2.4 aperture for portraits. Here we see the first difference between the 4G and the 5G version, since for the first one the macro camera stays in 2MP.
Snapdragon 765G, 5G and 4500 mAh battery
Where Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G differ the most is inside, where there are several points that change depending on the model. The first and most obvious is the connectivity that in the first one is 4G while the second one is already Supports 5G SA and NSA. However there are others to detail.
Redmi has mounted a Snapdragon 730G processor in the K30, while for the 5G version it has opted for one of Qualcomm's new processors, the Snapdragon 765G, more efficient and with support for 5G technology. In both cases the RAM can be chosen between 6 and 8GB versions, while for storage we have 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Finally we have a battery of 4,500 mAh, which will be charged in 60 minutes for the Redmi k30 5G thanks to a 30W fast chargeand that it takes a little longer in the 4G model since the fast load stays at 27W.
