Last year Huawei decided that its Mate range would have a member of lower category and price, a Lite version. This was something he had done previously in the P family but not in the Mate.
This year the rumors indicated that the same movement would be made and that the leaks of the design of the Huawei Mate 20 Lite have not ceased for a few weeks.
However, this time what has been leaked is the Chinese version in detail, the Maimang 7. Last year we told you about the Huawei Maimang 6, the mobile that would be marketed internationally as Huawei Mate 10 Lite and this year we do the same with his successor.
Big screen and big notch
Unlike the Huawei Mate 20, the Mate 20 Lite maintains a rectangular notch similar to that of the Huawei P20. The screen will be of 6.3 inches and will have a resolution of 2340 x 1080 px.
The processor used will be the Kirin 710, along with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. The rear cameras will be 24 + 2 Mpx, and will have artificial intelligence. The front, 20 Mpx, will have an advanced HDR mode for selfies and will use Huawei animojis, the Qmoji, which were presented long ago but we have not yet seen massively in their mobiles.
The dimensions of this model will be 158.3 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weigh 172 g. Its battery will be 3750 mAh and will have a USB Type-C port.
Unlike the higher models, It won't come with Android 9 Pie, but with Android 8.1 Oreo, which implies that the EMUi version will also be the penultimate. This move was already made last year by Huawei with the Mate 10, which came with Oreo, while the Mate 10 Lite came with Android 7 Nougat.
The price of this mobile is expected to be slightly lower than 400 euros and sold in gold, black and blue colors.
